Welcome to the 2024 Heather's Way Invitational

Heather’s Way is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that deals with the disease of addiction, changing the trajectory for people striving to recover. Heather’s Way addresses gaps in the treatment process, selecting and funding highly qualified support services at pivotal transition points to those impacted by addiction.

At Heather’s Way, “home” is not a place; it is a feeling. Wherever you feel safe, supported, and welcome, you are home. We hope you can join us in our effort to provide support for individuals and families as they work through the issues of this disease. Since our inception in 2021, Heather's Way has granted over $250,000 to individuals and facilities to support recovery from addiction.

We are excited to offer several fun challenges, welcome gifts, and prizes for Heather's Way Invitational participants including Closest to the Pin, Long Drive, and a Hole in One Contest to win a classic car. All teams are eligible to win the Heather's Way Invitational.

Donald Ross designed the club’s course and it opened for play in May of 1919 at a construction cost (excluding land acquisition) of $92,277, which was more than three times the original estimate. For some reason, all of the putting surfaces were rebuilt after only five years in operation, though Donald Ross recommended renovating four of these new greens in 1926.

Perry Maxwell changed five greens (the 8th and 10th in 1934, the 11th and 14th in 1937 then the 7th a year later) before Wayne Stiles drew up a comprehensive hole-by-hole report for the club in 1940, focusing mainly on the replacement of the Ross bunkers. William Gordon became the club’s course consultant for a time then Robert Trent Jones was called in to advise on modifications to several holes in 1966.
