Welcome to the 11th Annual Golf for Homes Outing

Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County (HFHMC) is excited to announce its 11th Annual “Golf for Homes” Outing to be held at the prestigious Beacon Hill Country Club in Atlantic Highlands on August 8, 2022. Activities will include a lunch, 18 holes of golf, on-course entertainment, dinner, silent auction and a 50/50 raffle.

We hope you can join us in making the dream of affordable homeownership a reality for hard working families across Monmouth County. Proceeds from last year's Golf for Homes outing helped to build a house for a deserving family in Atlantic Highlands. That house is nearing completion and the family will be moving in over the summer. We also built (6) six wheelchair ramps through our Ramps & Rails program, providing seniors with much needed security and independence, as well serving (13) thirteen families though our Brush with Kindness program.

Golf for Homes is one of our major fundraising events with 100% of profit going to these vital programs that change lives through the building of strength, stability, independence and shelter.

Our facilities include our expertly maintained championship golf course, short game practice area, putting green, and warmup range. Beacon Hill has always been regarded as one of the most beautifully maintained courses in the area; our newly re-designed course is one that everyone will want to see and experience. Completed over the winter of 2020-2021, our 3-year golf course renovation project concluded with 5 renovated tees, 8 completely rebuilt greens, 66 state-of-the-art new bunkers, recontoured and widened fairways, and selective tree work - all to enhance playing angles and open up views both on the golf course, and from the Clubhouse.

The course is set high on a hill with breath-taking views of Sandy Hook Bay and Lower Manhattan. The traditional course layout is established on 90 acres with tight, tree-lined fairways and small greens. Most of the greens are individually shaped, they slope from back to front, and in the summertime, they're maintained "fast and firm."

The challenge at Beacon Hill isn't necessarily it's length, but it's demand for accuracy on all strokes. The greens have subtle breaks that are not always obvious to most golfers, and local knowledge is the key to success and a competitive edge at Beacon Hill.
