Welcome to the 2024 Elite Invitational
Our golf tournament was started in 1997 with 12 players. Our goal was to raise money through local companies to give to charities in acute need of funds. We now have over 100 players and have donated over $1,500,000 to Ronald McDonald House, Orthopedic and Research Foundation, Leukemia Society, American Heart Association, Good Samaritan Foundation, 100 Club, Susan B Komen Foundation and other small local charities. Our goal is to help local groups in immediate need and with long term goals in mind. This year’s tournament will benefit UT Ortho Residents Fund, Faith in Practice, The Good Samaritan Foundation, Ft. Bend Women’s Shelter, Ronald McDonald House, First Tee Program, 100 Club, and Multiple Sclerosis.
This year’s golf tournament will be held at the Westwood Golf Club on October 14th 2024. Once again we are counting on your generosity and support for a successful tournament. Your support in the past has provided many players an exceptionally nice day on the golf course, as well as a significant contribution for our beneficiaries.

Directions
Westwood Country Club The original design, by noted Texas golf professional and architect John Bredemus, was nine holes. This "sporty nine" had a par of 36 and two sets of tees. The backset measured to a length of 3310 yards and the front set played to a length of 2979. This design had the reputation of challenging all skill levels with demanding drives through the natural hardwoods and tight second shots to well bunkered greens. Two of the featured holes included the fifth hole, a par 5, and the par 3 eighth hole. The fifth hole measured to a length of 600 yards with a very narrow fairway that has out of bounds to the right and heavy rough to the right. The scenic number eight, a par 3 that measures to 150 yards, positioned so that players hit into the prevailing wind. This green was well bunkered with water to the right and trees to the left. After the completion of Westwood, John went on to design other great golf courses such as Colonial CC.
