Annual Gregory T. Spagnoletti Memorial Golf Outing
Following is an update on The Gregory T. Spagnoletti Memorial Foundation. The trustees, who are: Mark, Chris, Paul and Jay Spagnoletti.
The mission of the foundation is to provide financial support to organizations, programs and individuals whose ideals are consistent with the character, values and core beliefs displayed throughout Greg’s life. Those ideals include education, youth athletic programs and community/charitable needs. You will see the mission coming true below.
With the generosity and support of so many individuals and companies over the years, the Foundation has raised approximately $787,000 and has earned ~ $23,228 in investment income. The only expenses the foundation has incurred since its inception are the payments to IRS to create the foundation and a small annual tax to the IRS and State of CT totaling ~ $2,738 over the last twenty years.
We have made distributions of $582,513

* Neighborhood Housing (bench at the park) - $800

* Wonderland Wizards Youth Hockey - $1,700
* New York Cares - $1,000
* The Cove Center for Grieving Children - $1,500
* Lead the Way - $500
* Peewee Nationals Youth Football- $500
* NY Firefighters Burn Center - $1,000
* Central CT Youth Hockey - $1,000
* Curry College GTS Stock Trading Room - $125,000
* Waterbury Police Activity League - $20,000
* “Watertown Reads” Program - $2,000
* Corporate Coyle Post 1 American Legion - $7,000
* St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital- $100,000
